KOLTA Privacy Policy

emanon ("we," "us," or "our") sets out in this policy how we handle user information in the iOS app "KOLTA" (the "App").

01Information We Collect

When you use the App, we collect the following information.

Display name and avatar image — Used to show you on boards.
Photos and drawings you add to boards — Stored as the contents of shared spaces.
User ID (an identifier for authentication) — Used to authenticate and manage your account.
Device push notification token — Used to send push notifications.

We do not collect advertising identifiers and we do not track you. We do not collect contacts, browsing history, or search history. Location data (GPS) contained in photos is automatically removed before they are shared.

02How We Use Information

We use the information we collect only for the following purposes.

Providing the App’s features (sharing, displaying, and notifying about boards)
Authenticating users and managing accounts
Investigating issues and responding to inquiries

03Where Data Is Stored and Who Can Access It

Where data is stored and who can access it depends on the type of data. The following two are handled differently in particular.

My Stickers

Cut-out stickers you save ("My Stickers") are stored only on your device and in your Apple ID (iCloud). They are not sent to our servers, and no third party — including us — can view their contents.

Board photos and drawings

Photos and drawings you add to boards are stored in a private space shared only with the people you invite. They are not placed in any publicly accessible storage and are shown only through temporary access links to authenticated members. They are never distributed to third parties through public feeds, search, or recommendations.

Images are stored in a way that lets us and the cloud providers described below technically access them to the extent necessary for maintenance and operation. This is not a scheme in which data is encrypted on your device so that even we cannot view it.

04Third-Party Services

The App uses the following cloud services as processors. Information is stored on each provider’s servers.

Google (Firebase) — Authentication, database, notifications, and server processing.
Cloudflare (R2 storage) — Storage of board images and composited images, operated with a private (non-public) configuration.

These providers handle information in accordance with their own privacy policies and their agreements with us.

05Disclosure to Third Parties

Except as required by law, we do not sell or provide the information we collect to third parties without your consent. The external services described above are processors used to provide the App’s features.

06Security

Images are kept in private storage, and access is limited to time-limited links for authenticated members. The credentials required for access are not held in the app and are managed only on the server side. Tokens used for invitations are hashed rather than stored in plain text.

07Data Deletion and Account Deletion

You can delete your account from within the App. On deletion, we remove your profile, information about spaces you belong to or own, images you have uploaded, your notification token, and invitation information.

Collaborative content that remains on shared boards is kept in anonymized form as a "deleted user," in order to preserve the record for other members (we explain this on screen before you delete). Because My Stickers are stored only in your iCloud, you can delete them through iCloud or on your device.

08Children

The App provides only invitation-based private spaces. There are no public feeds, search, or features for interacting with strangers. Please use the App under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

09Tracking and Advertising

The App does not display advertising, perform behavioral targeting, or engage in any tracking across third parties.

10Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy as necessary. If we make a material change, we will announce it on this page.
